Open source Adobe Flex

Catching up on everything after the holiday one of the most interesting pieces of news is that Adobe have decided to move the development of Flex to an open source model. This seems like an excellent and bold move to make. Flex is a powerful RIA framework whose potential has barely been tapped yet.
