Harps: All-Ireland Junior Camogie Champions

November 20th, 2006

Check out all the Harps camogie news on the new Harps Camogie website.

Congratulations to The Harps camogie team who yesterday won the All-Ireland Junior Club Camogie final by beating Keady of Armagh on a score of 1-7 to 0-5. The game was played in O’Moore park, Portlaoise in terrible weather conditions on a cut-up pitch, it was bad enough sitting in the stands, don’t know how they play in that. They played great all through, led for most of the match and an early second half goal set them on the way to the title.

They only won their first Laois County title this year so it’s been a great couple of weeks for them to go on and win Leinster and now the All-Ireland. Click on the little picture above to see a bigger team shot. Click on the 2 links below to read reports on the game.
